| no partners | | | This hike really got my heart rate going quick. It is only 3 miles one way, but it is a little bit of a climb at 10,000 feet. My brother and I started the hike around 10 am and got to the tower in just under 2 hours. We spent a lot of time at the look out taking in the views and trying to identify different points of interest. It was a nice day and we were not bothered by any storms until we got back to the car. As we were descending through the canopy of aspen trees, we could hear a storm moving in. We couldn't see anything, but the thunder was really loud. It was a cool end to the hike. |
