We headed out to do Echo Canyon. When we got there, we saw a ranger blocking the entrance to the parking lot, appraently there was a rescue under way. So we headed on over to Piestewa and did that trail instead.
Heard on the news this morning that the Phoenix FD responded to 6 rescues on this same day.
