| no partners | | | This was a real nice hike just outside Helena, MT. The first mile is an interpretive trail and rather wide and annoying but it’s along the flowing creek as it enters the canyon which is a fair trade off. Once in the canyon the stream disappears under ground but the canyon walls tower above you and get closer. Really pretty colors with the rising sun lighting up the walls above. 6.3 miles out and back in 2 hours with just 600 feet of AEG. |
