I was in the East Bay this morning for another event and went over to the Redwood Regional Park for an easy trail run on the Stream Trail.

Did this hike from the Pinehurst Trailhead. Today was nice and cool with a lot of sun. Almost stepped on a gopher snake and saw a lot of robins hopping around. Great afternoon.

Back to Redwood Regional Park. Fairly crowded as usual. Someone's dog decided to hike for a bit with me instead of his master, but he was cool. Started at Skyline Gate then south on West Ridge trail to the French Trail. Took French over its ups and downs to Mill Trail then down to the Stream Trail. Took Stream Trail back to Skyline Gate. Great day up on the mountain.

Started near the fishway interpretive location, and went up the Bridle Trail then up the Orchard Trail. Took the French Trail then the Redwood Peak Trail to the West Ridge Trail then the peak itself. After a snack went back along the West Ridge Trail to the Fern Trail which we took down to the Steam Trail at the bottom. Took that back to the car. Lots of people

Hiked a somewhat different route. Lots of people near the Skyline Trailhead. Saw some vicious retrievers.
