After camping here I wanted to do this hike before leaving. Glad I did, it is a nice loop that leaves from one end of the campground and ends at another. I did it counterclockwise, but I would recommend doing it the other way (unless you are in one of the cabins). There is a good chance to spot bighorn sheep on this hike, though I didn't see any. It is an easy hike that features colorful rocks and interesting plants, along with some seeps in an area where the canyon narrows.

Spent the three days after Christmas hiking in this winter wonderland. Not the most scenic desert I've hiked in, but alluring nonetheless. While there I hiked the Mountain Palm Springs Loop, around Agua Caliente CG, Tamarisk Grove CG, and Borrego Springs CG.
