Very nice trail - steady grade, some rocky sections but mostly smooth, quite a bit of shade (but an early start in summer is recommended), scenic views, worthy destination, history. Great for a trail run. Thanks @AZLOT69

Took the day off and spent the afternoon here. Really solid close to home hike with a beautiful river.

Really awesome hike. Great views of a beautiful river, a couple waterfalls, and had the trail mostly to myself. Passed one other hiker and a trail runner. Will probably be back with a fishing pole :)

Great hike right off the interstate into historic canyon. Can be busy on the weekends. Aim for a weekday and Bob's your uncle if you want the place to yourself.
