| no partners | | beginner hike, well attended, to the real Indian Wells... which are hiding over in the Lost Trail drainage... not anywhere close to the official Indian Wells trail. |

| no partners | | Theere were 15 total hikers, including a young man approximately 10 years old. It was a bit slow going up the climbs, however everyone seemed to like them. It is a wonderful fun canyon with the reward of the Indian Wells at the end. The young man was a bit bored at first, however once the climbing started he was thrilled.
He is a reminder to all of us to relive that joy. I know I loved climbing trees in the woods behind my house in Tennessee as a child.
I hope to see many of these hikers out with us again. |

| no partners | | Looked to be cloudy & windy. It cleared up nice, though. I got rather hot. Felt good hiking. Stomach hurt a bit. Working on slowing down to enjoy the scenery. Went up jeep road the way I usually come down and into wash where trail crosses. Did a bit of climbing in wash. Stopped in wash a couple times and then at Indian Wells. |

| no partners | | Interesting to discover this pleasant ramble right here on the edge of town... the official trail leaves a bit to be desired, but approaching from the off trail wash, and finishing up with the winding drainage crossings to Mineral Springs trail... makes for a nice couple of hours... |
