'Forest' hike with guys from work during LA tour. One of them who was raised in taiga told that these Americans don't know nothing about forests :)

Went to Sturtevant Falls and back to First Water Trail junction just below the trailhead, then went down to First Water and hiked to Hermit Falls. Tried to go along First Water connector trail to Robert's Camp but at one point there was a creek crossing where getting wet was mandatory and I wasn't ready for that. So I turned back and returned the same way.
I'm not posting a GPS track as it's inaccurate enough to be not useful, but you can google 'Chantry Flat trails' to get an idea what's going on in that area.
