Pretty nice in-between day hike. Definitely worth climbing to the upper falls.

Took Cow Creek to Bridal Veil Falls, then side trek to Gem Lake. Hike is nice. Views from rock scrambles above Gem Lake are amazing

Hiked on the first day of my RMNP trip. Only saw about a dozen people on the trail. Afternoon storms thundered on the other side of a mountain range and the temperature was nice because of storm clouds shade. Thanks to a fellow hiker for showing me the upper tier, otherwise I wouldn't have gone up there.
