I took a ride out to Superior hoping this might be a good spot for wildflowers. It wasn't, but wildflowers were everywhere along the highway going out there. This is a dirt road hike that gets you up close and personal with Apache Leap. There's some old mines and the occasional glimpse down into Queen Creek Canyon, but I just wasn't feeling it. I wanted wildflowers, so I stopped at Silly Mountain on the way home.
