The plan was a 3 day backpack from Telephone Hill to North Kaibab TH.

Day 1: From Telephone Hill we followed good trail through nice areas (except for the burned area). Camped in Tater Canyon near a shallow lake.

Day 2: Climbed up and out of Tater Canyon and past Dog lake, East Rim and on to Crystal Spring. Unfortunately, at this point we discovered by backpacking friend's nephew had really bad blisters so we turned back and took a side trail (trail #4) up to FR 611 and hiked out to the highway. We called our pick up to come and get us! :thanx:
