| no partners | | Started and ended with one mile on paved North Whispering Canyon Drive (plus a little of North Iron Hawk Drive) and continuing on a possible future route of North Whispering Canyon Drive. Next the route follows an unnamed trail to Almosta Trail #622 which is followed for less than a quarter mile to its north junction with Stringfield Trail #625. Before reaching the south end of Stringfield Trail #625, I turned around, because I only had time for an eight-mile hike. |

Autumn Foliage Observation Isolated A few trees with yellow leaves along a wash at the north end of where the route uses Trail #622 |

| no partners | | There have been changes to this location since the writing of the original page. The parking has been swallowed up by new home development. The remote feel lost due to urban sprawl.
You will need to hike in a couple of miles to evade the presence of mankind. This is also where signage begins. 2 3/4 miles in, views open up. There are many jcts, allowing one to change up this outing. Didn't see any other hikers nor wildlife. |
