Final Time Trial on the local BST-Multi-Use-Path

Out & back home...Hot & Dry with Wind!

After being in Northern California vocationally / in search of housing for nearly the entire month of May - I'm glad to be back home and on the 29er MTB for a final TT - myself, Tresa & our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks will be moving to Windsor, California on the 10th - with no time for out trips as the outback 4x4 is already sold as well. After much work and planning, we will be relocating our home and small business operations to Sonoma County as we've anticipated doing for some time now. We found a restored 1940's farm house with a couple of acres on a dead end street in one of the far-and-away toughest housing markets in the country.

We'll look forward to returning to the AZ outback as time allows - we have both spent the last 25 - 30 years with the Baja Arizona as our consistent on again, off again homebase - so it will ever remain a sort of homecoming now and again. Looking forward to getting out for an intial trek in Northern California soon after getting settled-in...I'll keep posting as is relevant.

Weekly Time Trial on the local BST-Multi-use-path. Out & back home...

After being away for 10 days of work related travel - I'm just glad to back home and on the bike a bit - I'll be heading back to California in a few days with no time for out trips as of yet. It looks as though Tresa & I will be relocating our home and small business operations to Sonoma County sometime in June. I'm still working to arrange the housing and such, so not much time for the Baja AZ - looking forward to some protracted outings before leaving the state for sure!

Wanting to get into the Huachucas later this week - forcast is for well below normal cold to return enforce Friday thru Sunday with lows toward 20F in SV. I may have to settle for some time in the San Pedro RNCA instead...

NEW YEAR's TT 2013

Cold and a bit breezy at times - keeping the break-out speed in check, but hey it's a Mountain Bike with a Day Pack in tow after a late night of enjoyment. The snow levels from yesterday mornings full-on coverage of Sierra Vista remained right down to the base of the Huachucas. Stunning :y: I'll be taking a camera next time out this way to get some photos for the posted route and such...just wanted to get out and say 'Hello 2013'!!!
