After kayaking across Lyman Lake, I pulled into the beach near the trailhead, and followed the trail to see the petroglyphs. This was the first time I had kayaked at Lyman Lake, but I had been on this trail several times before. The park used to run tours, and would bring people across on a motor boat.

I also hiked up a nearby knoll, but found no petroglyphs there. There was no basalt rock on the knoll, which seemed to be the rock of choice.

water 1 out of 5water 2 out of 5water 3 out of 5water less than max Lyman Lake 51-75% full 51-75% full
I am not sure about this, and don't know where to look for the percentage.
