I just wanted to attempt something that was not on our list and it was something I've never studied. The northern cliff face was intimidating and I was not even sure if I'd be able to reach the summit, yet it was calling me and I had to try. After over an hours hike away I made it to a short cat walk which led me to the cliff. I thought that was it as there was no way I could scale up steep crumbly cliff. Looking around I decided to return back over the cat walk then head down under it and some cliffs. I found a steep loose slope leading to the summit. Before I knew it I was on top. There was a summit register that read, "Broken Hill 13,256." I then knew my answer to which mountain and how high it was. It was a fun short adventure that was worth exploring. |
