With the national parks closed, we decided to spend a weekend camping and check out some of the Nevada State Parks. We set up base camp here at Cathedral Gorge and spent the day exploring. The campground was packed and we saw a surprising number of people on trail. Lots of German tourists detoured from their planned itineraries.

This trail is nothing super difficult, but it was a fun hike. Weather was unbeatable, and the scenery was something else. As a nice bonus, the trail is so smooth and easy to follow, you can easily (and safely, in my case

) look around while hiking. Checked out the "caves" and CCC works on the way.

Distance and AEG includes side trip to Eagle View plus an extra hike to Eagle View for sunset.
