It's a large federal wilderness area that is a large part of the greater Klamath Mountain region with hundreds of miles of trails, and not a lot of people on them. However, the Canyon Creek trail is easily the most popular trail in the wilderness, and Saturday, June 8th was no exception. I started late because I didn't feel like cooking an early breakfast in the unseasonal 40° weather, but that just gave me the opportunity to take better pictures in the late afternoon light.
I'm always impressed by the biodiversity in the Klamath Mountain region, and my photoset will go into greater detail when I get caught up on my pictures. |
