I spent my summer as a Park Ranger at Glen Canyon NRA, so this wasn't a far drive at all for a day off.
Ended up hiking almost ten miles and found at least a dozen "caves".
They're more like deep alcoves or large overhangs but still cool to poke around.

There are still some random archeological sites in the area too so that was a real treat.

I did take my mountain bike out but found little use for it because it was still hot out and all those years living above 7k ft has softened me to the heat I know, I'm lame

No photos for this one a few other trips because the phone I had broke on a different trip a few weeks later and I'm just now logging all the hikes from this summer. I guess I should save photos to that cloud thing afterall huh?

Great adventure. Found about 12 caves. Most shallow but some good ones. Horizontal and vertical. No one else was there.
