| partners | | On an 8 day / 7 night area vehicle camping and Autumn hiking trip, these two track roads and off-trail scenic Mogollon Rim Viewpoints hike, is an excellent add-on hike choice when also planning a dayhike to adjacent West Bear Canyon.
It should be noted that two track roads FR300D and FR300L that access this area from the intersection of FR300/FR398 are no longer legal to vehicle drive. |

| partners | | Memorial Day weekend trip to Pine/Strawberry/Payson.
Spent Sunday driving on Forest Road 300.
Best stop of the day was to Potato Lake - - tough to find but worth it for the kids to throw rocks and walk the circumference easily. Not crowded at all. Couple of people fishing and one kayak. Nearby creek does not "connect" to this lake that I could see. |
