| no partners | | I just really like the geology in this area. I need to spend more time exploring around here. Cool cool cool. After hiking into Oak Grove Canyon, drove over to this part of Upper Turkey Creek. Got there kind of late after changing a flat tire, so time was limited. |

This is my gym. I have to travel down a bumpy road to get there. There are no treadmillls, no machines, and no personal trainers. I walk..I run..I breathe the fresh air. I can go any time I want, as much as I want and there is no membership fee. |

| no partners | | I began scouting this hike on Google Earth about 3 years ago. It looked interesting from satellite imagery, but how would it pan out in real life. I can't believe it took me this long to finally find out. So much Arizona, so little time.
After harassing my son to hike with me for the first 12 years of his life (to little or no avail), he finally embraced the hobby and loves it. Thank you Boy Scouts of America!
We enjoyed two days of hiking and I've discovered even more side canyons and drainages that appear just as interesting. I look forward to going back and exploring these options. Hopefully another 3 years won't go by. |
