Great conditions to run this canyon. Lightly-flowing water with enough depth in pools to make slides possible for many spots. Good air temp.
Releasable anchor used for first rappel in this canyon = 0ur first use of CEM knot in situ. :D
Only forgot how long the approach hike takes and should have started a bit earlier. Boulder-hopping in the dark makes for slow going right at the end :(

Beautiful canyon with some great views, pretty rappels, and fun challenges. With recent rains, water was actually flowing in places. Normally, the pools are still and maybe even empty, meaning conditions were a little unusual for this canyon. It was chilly and windy, but I only have a 3-2 wetsuit, so I wore a second one over mine. I may have looked stupid, but I was toasty warm! Good day out there.
