| no partners | | | Easily the most difficult trail on the beginner list of the mayor mountain bike challenge. There was one short technical section that I couldn't possibly figure out how I'll ever be able to ride up. I stopped at a beautiful viewpoint of clear creek along the way. And I saw three bears! They were following each other running away from the trail. I can't believe that this happened again, I just saw a bear last week on a different trail. |

| no partners | | | Great hike during the first very warm weekend of the season. Grass everywhere from the rain, and small wildflowers as well. There is a nice lookout view of a rugged part of Clear Creek through a small canyon. |
