This description links four different sites together and although the listed length is 4 miles, it is really only about 1 mile all combined together. Northwestern Colorado has tons of amazing rock art that is little-known outside the region, despite the BLM having active interpretation at many of these sites. Well worth checking out if you're in the area, and the remote, high desert is delightful.

Along the Fremont Ridge hike there were lots of Indian Paintbrush, otherwise wildflowers were scattered/isolated.

We had a lot on the table today. Got an early start and accomplished quite a bit. Some great rare rock art. We didn't see another person the entire day. You wouldn't want to do this in wet weather. Ground is extremely soft.
