Short hike with the extended family followed by a nice dip in the river. The water was great. Not really cold at all. Felt great on this hot day.

I forgot to start Route Scout for the hike to the swimming spot, and remembered to start it late on the way back. And then I didn't stop it before the drive away. RS filtered out most of the drive but left in the drive through the parking lot. So overall distance is about right.

Nice hike in the Yuba River canyon. Trailhead parking can be a premium in the summer.
