| no partners | | | I didn't drive all the way to the trailhead because the road was getting a little rough for my comfort, but it wasn't too much farther to reach the start. I felt very secluded in this wilderness, but did come across a couple of tents from some campers who I did not run into during my hike. I went to an upper lake and pond where there were many lily pads that were drying up. The trail up away from the main lake was difficult to follow and I ended up exploring off trail a bit. I walked to a ridge overlooking gray rock lake for a nice view. |
