| no partners | | Started at Blood Lake TH. Guardsman pass is dropoff only now. I took the manicured trail to Bloods lake and then headed to Guardsman Pass. Up Peak 10420 on my way off the peak, I saw the first hiker. Then hit CLayton. Then on my way back I ran into several groups. Decided to take a different way down and that bypassed the lake. The lake route is nicer. Beautiful day! Bloods Lake trail to guardsman then peak 10420 then Clayton. Down loopine I think to Kalamazo back to Bloods

| no partners | | In Utah for work and had a meeting cancel so headed up towards Brighton. Canyon style hike (downhill first half, uphill second and back again) and the mosquitos were horrendous. That said, trail was wide and well-trafficked with several pups on the trail. Decent wildflowers even into August. |

Wildflowers Observation Moderate 8/1/19: Still a substantial amount of wildflowers in the valley that the trail flanks. |
