I might end up writing a couple trail guides here in the future, we shall see. Anyway, a New Year's Day hike with my parents at the Harvey Bear Open Space. Lots of people out and about. Saw cattle being moved from one pasture to another, a reminder that agriculture still persists in small places in the Bay Area, and a throwback to my childhood.
