Hiked partway up Ferguson Canyon Trail. Trail was in good shape for the first 0.75 miles or so, then got very steep and rocky after that. Three short patches of snow/ice to negotiate, but pretty easy. Once we turned away from the creek, we switchbacked up a gentler grade before turning off towards the overlook. Nice views of the city and Big Cottonwood Canyon. Other than the steep part, it was generally an easy hike back downhill. Cool, cloudy, and breezy, but felt good.
