Great hike that really highlights the microclimates of the Pocatello area. Turned around a little earlier than I wanted to because of water on the trail with no bypass except through a yellowjacket gathering. Still, worth the miles!

Got more than I bargained for with this hike thanks to some inaccurate trail signage at the trailhead. Beyond my knee giving me some issues on the downhill though, this was a great first "real" hike in the area. I'm definitely going to do it again when there's less smoke and it is a bit cooler.
