The drive up to the trailhead was easier than I was expecting—mosyly good road, and signs at all turns. Got started with temps around 50 and a light breeze. Easy hike uphill, then it got steeper. The trail is in good shape and easy to follow.

When we turned to the southwest, the trail leveled off for a while before the final push up to the summit. I think that last third of a mile was the steepest of the day. The gorgeous summit views made up for the lack of views from two miles of walking through dense trees. Breezy at the summit, but we sat behind some rocks and had a snack.

Easy hike back down. Very nice hike with plenty of solitude. The Selkirk Mountains are definitely worth the drive to reach them.
