Drove with Chris M down Sasco road and went South on the dirt road leading to the East side of the peak. Parked off the dirt road and started hiking North and West. With a few minutes, we crossed a wash and kept heading toward the slope. When we got to the slope leading up we noticed a lot of rocks and they continued the entire way up. There didn't seem to be any way to avoid the rocks. Near the top the climb was a bit steeper but within a few minutes after the climbing section, we arrived. There was a cross at the top of the peak which was broken and needing repairs. We found a registry hidden in the pile of rocks. To the North we could see Picacho peak and to the Southwest we could see Ragged Top and Wolcott Peak. To the Northwest we could see the Sawtooth mountains in the distance. On the way down we hiked Southeast down the ridgeline and then hiked East down the side of the mountain. It was quite rocky but we kept a steady pace and made it down to the bottom within about 20 minutes. My GPS device somehow paused on the peak and I wasn't able to record the track on the way down. But the same route could also be used for the descent.

AEG = 811 feet (one way)
