I drove with Tim on Redington road to the lower parking area for the Tanque Verde Falls trailhead. From here we continued 11 miles on Redington road until we reached a junction. The road appears to be called Redington road for both extensions going North and East. We took the branch going East rather than North and continued for another 3.5 miles. There were some really bad sections of road which tested the limits of my 4x4 high clearance Chevy truck. The road was heading down into a canyon and we decided to park part way down the road instead of drive all the way to the bottom. It was about a 1/3 mile hike to get to the bottom of the road which entered the canyon. The road continued and there was a creek to cross. Today there was a decent flow of water in the creek but we managed to cross using a few rocks and didn't get wet. We proceeded up to the top of the ridgeline which was known as White Ridge. There were some areas with catclaw vine, shin dagger, and other thorn bushes. The brush was thick in many areas and we needed to find ways around. In a few areas, there were no good ways around so we were forced to carefully plow through. Along the way, we found some nice big barrel cactus and some pin cushion cactus. The ridge seemed to continue for a long time and there were sections of downhill also. There were many false summits / high points. This peak didn't have many good features. We saw areas with a lot of shin dagger, some agave, a lot of dry grass, and just a few thorny trees. I suppose it wasn't high up enough for any other kinds of trees. We found a registry under a rock pile and the last entries were from December 2017.
