| no partners | | We knocked out this trail on our way home. We camped at the Angel Creek Campground and then got up real early to hit the trail, in an effort to beat the heat and to get an early start on our drive back to Phoenix.
The lake was a great destination for the effort and a pretty scenic little hike for its short length. The mountains of northern Nevada are pretty underrated and I will have to make more of an effort to explore them one day, in particular, the Ruby Mountains.
I wrote a description for the hike, where hiking specific details can be found. |

Wildflowers Observation Light A pretty nice little display of wildflowers along the early stretches of the trail. |
