Hiked starting at 3.15 p. Started at Intemann trail and Crystal Park rd. Only saw 2 or 3 free parking spaces on the side of the road. Luckily one was available and I parked there. We took the Intemann trail which had some stairs going up and was pretty steep at first going up a hill side. After we were higher up the trail remained level. We heard some noise as we were rounding a corner and saw 2 deer on the mountain above the trail. They didn't seem to be too afraid and were probably used to seeing people on the trail. After a while we saw the summit and took the trail all the way there. At the very top there was a rocky area which we needed to climb. From the top we could see the town of Manitou Springs along with views of Red Mountain and some of the higher points of Pikes peak. We went down the same way. My Strava malfunctioned and therefore I was only able to get the GPS track going UP.

Stats:
---------
distance (round trip) = 3.1 miles
AEG = 509 feet (one-way to peak)
Strava moving time = 37 mins (one-way to peak)
Strava elapsed time = 58 mins (one-way to peak)
