Hiked around to the top and rapped into the lower set of anchors where I setup a top rope of a tough face section below the main, angling dike. I placed one bolt and then rapped to the base. I was feeling tuckered from the previous day's long hike. I spent a few hours at the base of the wall drinking beer, pruning out some brush and shaping the oak trees. The trees are really filling in nicely and will provide a lot of shade in the future. To see this area recover from the devastation of the Woodbury Fire is encouraging! |
