According to the topo map, this hike is also referred to as "Squaw Tïts"! (Nice name)

I planned on starting this hike earlier and was hoping for a cloudier/more overcast day but it didn't work out the way I planned. I decided to attempt to bag this hike on my drive back from Rocky Point despite the heat and clear skies. It took longer than I expected and it was hotter than I expected. I almost turned back because of the heat, but I was 90% of the way there. Glad I was able to finish this hike. The final bushwhack involved some rock climbing and I just went for it. On the way down, I found a slightly safer way, but there were some climbing areas that weren't so easy. Some of the rock was crumbling while climbing down. Be very careful to test the rocks for safety. I wonder how someone got a barrel up there on the peak. I did see evidence of border crossers as I found some pots/pans about halfway up the ridge under a tree. This would be a great winter hike. Felt like 100 degrees at times. Elevation was too low for July 1st. But, an overcast day would have made it better.
