Route Scout Route Recorded  on Route Scout | Pop | Map | Popup | MapDEX
This time I drove further and parked across from Walnut Spring. This route worked out nicely both ways. The down route had no in and out of drainages and I was riding the ridge. 39 degrees at the start and 53 at the finish. I'm pretty sure I was off private property according to my map but there was one point that I saw no trespassing sprayed on a rock wall. Right about my turn area I found a large rock pile along with a referance marker about a mile and a half in. About 45 minutes later, I was at USLM 2748 and was at my next turn/ridgeline which was delightful. The last rise up to Rover was pretty steep. I chose the left side where there was a hole in the fencing. It was too cold and windy up top to eat, so I waited and ate a little later near peak 5207. I also found the marker where the wood was. I missed it last time saw the wood missed the triangle marker. The highpoint for today were the HP views. They were amongst the best I've seen in AZ. I stayed pretty true to the route I drew up on RS. Pics include screen shots of route and drawn route and watch stats on top compared to RS. 1 foot difference in aeg at that point.

Took FR 2019 past High Mesa Tank, Indian Ruin Tank, up to base of Rover and off trail to summit. Came back via Grapevine Tank and Monument Mesa Tank.
