Struck out on Boulder Canyon since it's closed for nesting, but I was lucky enough to see a cute puffy Chucky. Somewhat flabberjasted that Misgivings still sports the original Leepers. Yikes! Perhaps someone should replace those with some glue-ins? :-s On the eastern descent via Cholla, a few people were stung on the face and arms by bees once they began to mistakenly swat at the little feisty Anthophila. Somehow I was mixed up in their bad decisions that could have been much worse. At least she'll only have a puffy face for a few days. :sk:

Was just driving by doing something else and though "mmm... it's a nice day". Ran home, grabbed my pack and two hours later I'm on the summit.

First time taking a stroll up Bobbies Rock. I noticed a few hikers heading up a slight etching in a wall of stone about halfway across the trail from the intersection with Echo Canyon Trail. There is amazing solitude in this section of Camelback. There are only a few other spots to have some peace on the popular mountain. This is one of them.
