I'm surprised its taken me over 4 years to make it out here. Really not a bad drive at all, probably took about an hour and a half and that was leaving during rush hour traffic. The last couple miles are rocky and slow going, but not bad at all. Hiked down to the base of the falls first and took in the view, beautiful amphitheater and massive waterfall. Afterwards I hiked back up to the road and found the approach trail to the top of the falls. Set up my gear and rappelled down just after sunset by headlamp. Fun times! |
