| no partners | | | Quick weekend trip. I trail ran this planning to do the loop with little devil’s tower saw the turn on way up spur trail to lookout, but missed it on the way down. I did this late in the day so it was probably just as well. I really liked this trail! Family relaxed and walked around the lake and climbed on rocks. I met up with them on completion. Fall colors in this area were great! Missed some things and hikes we wanted to do in the area due to time constraints and late start thanks to the cold temps and camping the night before. Couple cave tours on the docket for next time back! Mt. Rushmore looks much smaller as an adult 50 years later. |
