I'm here! Well, always looked forward to my 1st hike out of state. Will it be CA, NM, UT, CO? Never imagined it would be HI. Out here with several friends + 2 more arriving today. 🥂

Hiking alongside the beach. Following a Ridgeline. I eventually reached an area noone else was at. There was a beehive with them swarming all over the trail and no way around. Ok, this is my turn around point.

Explored a short side trail on the way back.This hike is steep in places and humid. Expect to sweat. I eventually started adapting. When my friends picked me up, I was told I went beyond the end of this trail. Fitting way to begin my hiking travel adventures. 🧳
