"The remoteness of this lake with the striking view of the surrounding basin is a panorama of sheer beauty!" (see hike description for ALL the reasons to hike it details).

Unfortunately, we did not make it the entire 5.2mls in to this beautiful lake and setting. This was our second hike this day off the Going-to-the-Sun Road. After first completing the St. Mary's & Virginia Falls hike earlier in the morning, we got a very late morning start on this hike and decided to stop at 3.85 scenic and beautiful miles in, ~1.4mls short of reaching our intended stopping point at Otokomi Lake :( . Hopefully next time! :D
