The "trail" doesn't exist. It's really a long scramble over boulders and river rocks. The scenery isn't great either, both the water is nice.

The trails (Super Trail and Old Baldy) are a little crowded from the road up the Josephine Saddle, but most people turn back there. The "springs" are a little disappointing, just a sunken barrel with a pipe that fills it. Still, it's nice to have some water on the way.

Fantastic! Be sure to get to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain while you're in the area. It's a short hike and a great view.

This is a realatively easy hike. The Prison Camp area was mostly burned in the fires over the summer of 2003, but I actually prefer the area now. Before the fires it was really brushy, and now it is almost entirely grass...From the Prison Camp parking area, there area actually a couple of trails I can't remember the names, but you can't really miss them. Go find them.
