This is a very strenous hike. We started at the Roger's Trough TH and returned the same way. It was worth it for me to be able to see this ancient structure. Some very nice views from the top; especially of Four Peaks. A long the trail we saw the largest Juniper tree I have ever seen. (See pictures).

This would make a nice over night trip. When we went there was plenty of water along the trail; it was a good thing; I drank about 6 liters on this trip.

:) This is a great hike if you don't mind a lot of miles. About half way through it you can to Charlabois Springs; it is a beautiful oasis in the desert. (See pictures).

Recomend starting at Totillia Trail Head; this way it is mostly down hill. Take a water purifier and you can fill up at the spring. It makes a great place for lunch to.

What a great day for this hike. The weather was beautiful. We started hiking about 7:30 am and returned to the truck about 3 pm. We started at the See canyon trail head which is located near Christopher Creek. We hiked up the canyon to the Rim Road. We had lunch there and then hiked back down to the turn off to the See Springs. We took this 1/2 mile, one way, side trip. It was really worth it. This was probably the most beautiful part of the trip.
One of the nice parts of this hike is that you are in the shade of the trees most of the time.
We found some wild strawberries along the trail. They were not very good but tasted great.
There were some people camping at the trail head. One of them was fishing in the creek near by. He was having a lot of luck catching trout.
Highly recommend this hike. The last 1/2 mile or so going up gets pretty steep, but other than that, it is a easy hike.
:)

This was an easy and fun hike. It is nice to have something to look at when you reach the destination of a hike. We had a hard time finding the ruins; we ended up on the other side of the wash and climbing the canyon away from the ruin. I happened to look back and see the ruin when we got high enough.
