We started at the See canyon trail head which is located near Christopher Creek. We hiked up the canyon to the Rim Road. We had lunch there and then hiked back down to the turn off to the See Springs. We took this 1/2 mile, one way, side trip. It was really worth it. This was probably the most beautiful part of the trip.
One of the nice parts of this hike is that you are in the shade of the trees most of the time.
We found some wild strawberries along the trail. They were not very good but tasted great.
There were some people camping at the trail head. One of them was fishing in the creek near by. He was having a lot of luck catching trout.
Highly recommend this hike. The last 1/2 mile or so going up gets pretty steep, but other than that, it is a easy hike.
