Went up with my wife and dog- went kind of slow 4 hrs round trip as it was wifes 1st hike of the year-lot of interesting views and then wow!!! Weavers needle - what a awesome sight-have seen this formation for many years and from a lot of different angles and view points- but their it was like the monolith in the movie 2001

Last week got my feet wet hiking siphon draw with my dog -this time no dog and I went to the top!!! what a view my wife was able to see me from the driveway using our 20 x 80
binoculars-when I arrived to my supprise I found someone sleeping din not mean to but i woke him up-I think he said his name was Bill- Thanks to Bill for taking my picture with the awsome view in the background-Leaving around 7:30 and being alone and first on the trail it was nice to see the white dots that everyone tells me to look for-it was a comfortable feeling to see them.
