Ok let me first start by saying that this trip ended up being the coolest hike/camping trip so far. We have been to Reynolds Creek 3 times now in the passed 3 months. It just so happened to snow this time. ALOT. I think it's still snowing. My friend Brandon and I went up Friday morning and drove to the Trailhead #150. We were planning on someone meeting up with us later, our trip was a hiking/camping pack trip. We had packs on that weighed aboout 60lbs. The hike up to the waterfall was difficult with the packs. As we made it up it started to snow. We thought about turning back at this point but decided to go further. We made it about 1/2 mile passed the waterfall and decided that this was where we were going to set up camp. About 15 min later we decided to hike back down, the weather was getting worse. The hike down in the deep snow now was almost impossible. But we made it back to the truck. Our other friend Ed showed up and we stayed the night there. Woke up to even more snow, as the pics show. We started to drive out and it got pretty scary in a few places, but we are still alive. That area was awesome with the snowfall, one of my favorite places........

Showed up at about 12:30, later we realized that it was a little late to start the hike. I went with my friends Brandon and Jessica, we had a great time. The trail starts off nice and easy. Not much for a view at first, as you climb it gets better and better. About a mile in the trail gets pretty steep, and continues that way for about a half of a mile. The trail will level off at the top and then down to a watering hole. We continued down the Haunted Trail and went down, down, down.....thinking about the hike back to the car. We stopped at the trailhead to Bull Basin Trail, due to Jessica worried about the insuing darkness. We ate had a little campfire and headed back to the car. Total trip was 4.8 miles. Finally got back to the car at 6:30 it was dark. Great time...the best part about the hike was not having a point to get to nice views the whole way down.

Awesome hike. Was a little cold in spots, but not too bad. We had never been to this area before. Drove in on FR410 and got as far as we could, tree blocking the road. We were in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata, could have driven all the way to the trailhead if not for the tree. As the trail crossed the creek we thought that we were going the wrong way. Got to the waterfall, snow on the ground and ice in the creek. Waterfall was solid ice from the top to bottom. Set up shop at the top of the falls, ate some chili and then headed back.....Great trip would love to go back in the snow....
