Boy did I make a mistake ! The girlfriend wanted to go after she got of work, and I stupidly said yes. I guess one of the benefits of not being a 9-5er is that most of the time when I go on a hike there's not a ton of people on the trail. This was ridiculous. Do most people not have any idea about trail etiquette ? Right of way... "On your left".... NOT WALKING TWO WIDE !!! I've never seen such a log jam to get to a peak. Sorry I'm done. Great little hike if you can avoid the peak hours.

Took the dog with me today and had some fun. I ended up going all over the park (hence the added miles). The park is a lot of fun when there's not a ton of people around. Got some good pics at sunset.

Great time ! First big hike since moving to the valley of the Sun. Just make sure if you have a partner that they are on the same skill level as you, or you will be waiting a lot. The views from the top are amazing ! Give your self at least 30min to soke it all in. A little more if you want to take a nap.
