Overall a easygoing hike with spectacular views. Take a camera if possible. Probably not the best idea to go after a rainstorm since you cross a wash/creek a number of times. Ran into a few creatures along the way such as woodpeckers, chipmunks, and a frog or two. The view at the top is quite amazing. If you like solitude on your hikes like I do, better go early since this is a very popular hike. On the way down i must have passed by at least 80-90 people, many of them in large groups of 10 or more. Not as many wildflower sightings as I had hoped for. Enjoy!! |

| | Not a ton of water around, but just enough to have some pools of water to hike and jump across in the creek. | | _____________________
