Took tram to stop 9. Switchbacks immediately were a little rough due to the quick summer heat even at 9 am. Great hike, the pool itself was incredibly inviting. Saw few other hikers on the trail, and none were actually at Hutch's pool. Ate lunch and lounged on the sandy beach. Made awesome time on the way back, as we did't think we'd actually catch the last tram back (4:30 pm). Not too warm or muggy. Well-kept trail.

Fabulous hike with the very rewarding falls at the end. Lazed around for an hour eating lunch, then explored the upper falls for another hour or so. Scrambling over the rocks was a bit tricky, but well worth the effort for the views and the solitude. Wasn't too hot. Made tram both to and from. Lots of college kids in the lower levels.
