| no partners | | Enjoyed a nice couple of hour on the Golden Gate Trail today. Started from the parking lot on Gates Pass and headed in. Beautiful afternoon, could have used a few more clouds, June is taking it's toll on my unfit body. Glad I have my wife with me to crack the wip. The trail was easy to follow and a joy to hike. We went in about 2 moles and dicide to off trail back to the parking lot instead of to Kinnie Road. Made our way through washes and bike paths and met up with a larger trail that took us back. We steped into the parking lot just in time to see a trail of Custon antique cars coming down the mountain. Great photo opp.... |

| partners | | My wife and I got a late start leaving at 8:30. The way in is mostly downhill and took us only and hour and fifteen minutes. We sat for awhile down by the resevoir but not long enough. The way up was a constant uphill climb and both me and my wife were hurting. Will try this one again when I'm 75 lbs lighter (25lbs for my wife). |
